Lost all my VST plug-ins

Well, after installing the latest Reaper update (4.31, I think) a few weeks ago, I didn't bother to try it until today. Now I come to discover that none of my VST plug-ins are there any more. I've re-assigned my paths to those plug-ins and re-scanned, re-installed Reaper, re-booted, everything I can think of. I have made no recent changes to my system, added no new plug-ins, nothing. I get this message when the program is starting and scanning for plug-ins: "The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired." Then it lists all the plug-ins that weren't found. I'm at a loss. Thanks on advance for any help you can offer - I searched the forum, but couldn't find anything specific to this problem.

Did you install the 64 bit version of Reaper by accident?

Where exactly (path) are your plug-ins installed? Are all of your plug-ins 32-bit?

Try this C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\ move this file to your desktop "reaper-vstfxppath.ini" C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\ move this file to your desktop "reaper-vstplugins.ini" Run Reaper goto options/preferences/VST add this path : C:\Program Files\Vstplugins should be the default. click clear cache and rescan Anything good now???

Hi, had a similar problem, lost all my 32-bit plugins after updating Reaper. Reason was that I accidentally unchecked the plugin/bridge while installing the update. Re-installing the plugin-bridge solved the problem. Wolfgang
