I've voted - emphatically yes :) I don't use the jump-to window much, but when I do it's a pain. Enabling data-entry directly in the transport is a no-brainer imo.
Looks like not too many people use the Jump To dialog box in its current state. Well, would you use it a little more if it were a lot more usable ? Then go vote folks.
Excellent ideas, airon -- I voted for this when it was first posted. I still sometimes double-click on the project time in the transport to bring up "Jump To".:D Thanks- -Susan

Voted :) PLUS.. we really need to make it so this shows up for newcomers when they also search for the phrase "go to" which is what a lot of DAWs call it, I try to find it for a newcomer once (as I knew it was there somewhere) but couldn't find the right word to use in the search :)
Hey, the Goto timecode window is kinda crappy on efficiency for the user. It's flexible to let people enter timecodes of any format, but in the end almost everybody enters timecodes in one format, maybe two if they're composing to picture(SMPTE timecode and Bars&Beat). For this reason, most of the timecode entry methods that are regarded as quick, effient, in other words not getting in the way, have the user enter only the numbers, and not the delimiting characters. That's what this request is all about, and I don't really care how it's done, as long as the user doesn't have to enter delimiting characters or use the mouse for anything but changing the timecode type.

Figured I'd give a little bump to this great request. I'd really love to see this one implemented. The current jump to time window is pretty clunky, it feels like it was tacked on at some point as an afterthought and then forgotten about
