Hello Astralp and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information. I recognise your tag form elsewhere (no, I'm not the Darkstar at Cubase). a) Folder track parts -- those containers has been requested as an FR b) Follow Cursor -- I'm not sure what you want the cursor to do. Could be clarify? c) mute Part (called Clips or Items in Reaper) -- select the clip, right-click >> Item settings >> Mute -- and there's a Action to which you can assign a keyboard shortcut

c) Or go to Options-Preferences-Appearance-Media-Media item buttons and check Muted and Unmuted, then you have a button to mute/unmute on each item/part.

You might want to try this theme: (with the latest version of reaper, you should be able to just throw it into the track lanes to implement) It might help you in the transition... JR

I did already assign a shortcut, but it doesn't work in playback mode, only when stopped unfortunately. Although, I've just tried your other suggestion, and indeed the when the view is set to source beats it no longer follows! Fantastic, I can see how that will solve my problem once my brain stops going for the F key, I should be fine. thanks again!

Assign the F key to "Delete project". You'll soon stop using it. :)

haha, good idea, I'd assigned it to shoulder massage but that's lead to even more F pressing. I am relaxed though.

Such a difference to cubase.net which I could hardly bring myself to visit over the last 4-5 years.
