Is anyone running a dual monitor system? Any performance issues? In particular I'm thinking of picking up a ATI radeon VE. Any suggestions?

RE: Dual monitors

Hi there... Using a Matrox Millenium G450 Dual Head with great success... My only gripe is that you can not move the Mix window to the second monitor and have the Edit window on the first. Some other windows also do not transfer to the second monitor. Hope this helps.

HEY STAYLOR, thanks for the advice. are you able to run mix on one monitor and edit on the other. It seemed like this was a problem for Charlie x and Jbr seems to have had the same "fuzzie" issue

Hold the heck up! Lately I've been having dreams about two black 17" flat panels, one with mix, one with edit. So far I've been hearing that the VE can get it, but there may be fuzziness. On the other hand the G450 isn't fuzzy, but I can't go Mix/edit. Someone, please, Help a brother out!

RE: Dual monitors

I have the g450 and can move them to the second window.. all you have to do is "unmaximize" the ptle main window, and then position it in the upper left hand of the first monitor, and then drag the bottom right hand of the window to the bottome right hand of the second monitor. These settings will not be saved, and you will need to resize all of it the next time you open ptle. hope that helps. dave
