Item Fade Handles

MessageAuthor

Optional fade handle grab areas on the item, really would make life easier (Optional for those who wouldn't use them) The grab area right now changes position depending on the size of the item and is hard work if you use a lot of small slices Cheers

yes - the positional system is quite fiddly to use in its current form

RE: Item Fade Handles

Yeah i don't think many people use item fades on small slices or this would be a major issue for sure It's so damn annoying when you do use small slices all the time like myself :(

+1 With handles, we could also request the ability to crossfade splits just by dragging the handle instead of needing to make a time selection and run an action. Also, how about a similar option to restrict the item volume mouse-area to a handle in the middle of the item - I very often find myself moving it by accident because it extends over the whole item. argh.

This irritates the hell out of me, too. Why shouldn't we be able to change the fade length across the WHOLE length of the fade?

I think this may well have been an annoyance that a lot of users have lived with up to this point But these are the little things that really need sorting out on Reaper to make it a joy to use non stop

A gif to show how bloody annoying this is starting to get Keep in mind this gif is losing frames too, its a hit n miss game to try and grab the fade at the best of times We really need fade handles so much that i would even consider this a bug

At that point, wouldn't you just zoom in? Might take a bit more of your time, but that's how i'd do it. Unless i'm missing something? I hope whatever issues you're having, they could work on fixing it for you. But I would just zoom in. Again, I could be missing something here.
