How to decide polarity of mapped midi parameters

Advertising

MessageAuthor

I'll keep this short. How do I change the polarity of the parameters I'm using midi "learn" to map? I'm referring to the "param -> learn" in the fx window. I think its a bit weird that there is no option to do this, at least none I can find. The goal is to get correct polarity for the X-Y pads in alchemy (Y is polarized, so moving my pad upward will move the cursor down). I've wondered about this in some other situations as well.

Slightly longer would be good - as I'm not certain what you are looking for. If you mean that you would like the MIDI values to range from 127..0 rather than 0..127 then that is not implemented. Both that and scaling the range have been requested.

DS: can you give an example (or the link) how would you expect the scale to work ?

does anyone has an example, in which case a MIDI to MIDI scaler can be usable ?

Hey Whatsup. There is no hurry. I just thought that this would be nice to include in Reapers built in controller method, as it practically is perfect now as it is. :)
