Problem with lanes

MessageAuthor

Hello guys, I've just faced a problem with item intersections on one track. I've two midi items that are placed on the same track and I found that REAPER treats them differently depending on the "kind of intersection": 1. If the intersection is some kind of "item1 starts

RE: Problem with lanes

The way Reaper plays back intersecting items is controlled in the setting Project Settings -> Advanced -> Item mix behaviour If you want it to always play intersecting items for example, set it to 'Items always mix'. edit: Also useful to know, this setting is also obeyed when applying 'glue' to intersecting items.

RE: Problem with lanes

You can change it for the whole project in the Project Settings -> Advanced: "Item mix behavior". Do "Save as default project settings" if you want it changed for all future projects. It can also be set per item in the item properties. Did I really need more than 3 min to type this?
