Hello, all. I'm loving using REAPER but I cannot find a theme I'm 100% happy with, unfortunately. I'm using the Pro Tools one that's on the website now but it doesn't look too much like Pro Tools, IMO. Pro Tools just happens to have my favorite GUI to work with so I was wondering if anyone out there that has the skills could make an almost replica of Pro Tools 7, with the faders/meters and setup and all, as close to exact as possible. I'd even be willing to pay for such a theme! Thanks for reading guys and I hope someone is kind (or bored) enough to make such a theme!
If you can show us what it looks like someone might be able to have a shot at it. I've never seen Pro tools in the flesh so I haven't a clue how good the Reaper theme is or what obstacles there are to overcome, but I am pretty certain nobody could make a "replica" cos it's different software with a different gui - obviously :)
Spartux, Sorry you can't find a theme that will work for you. There are lots of good themes made by some great themers here. Are you sure you did a complete search? good luck

Technically speaking though, I imagine you should have a commercial license should you not?. So it's not going to me, or at least nobody will say it was me if the OP gets a Pro-tools theme from somewhere but remains evasive about where he got it from. :D Don't you just hate it when someone puts a huge screen shot on a thread causing you to have to scroll sideways to read what people are posting? I hope that's not going to put anyone off now ;)

I see nothing wrong with making a bit of coin doing themes. If Groove Monkey can make some coin putting out EZ Drummer MIDI files, then I see no difference here.
That's v8 in the screenshot btw. I'm a regular PT user too. Here's the theme I'm working with on Reaper, which has fairly clear lines and smooth colours. No gradients and stuff. Perhaps it's useful for you. Screenshot:
