Upgrading to 7, having lost SN/discs for PT 5+6

Advertising

MessageAuthor

I currently am running an mBox with LE 6.2.3 on a G4 running OS 10.3.9 . I intend to do a clean install of Tiger and then install Pro Tools LE 7 (once it ships "soon.") I have moved recently moved and in the process lost the envlope with my Pro Tools 5 and 6 install discs and getting started guides. I do not own an iLock yet. Will this prevent me from purchasing and/ or installing the PT 7 upgrade? If so what do I need to do. Thanks...

The paid upgrade will include a new serial number.

When I purchased the 6.9 upgrade, they wanted the hardware serial number, not the software code.

Just call digidesign customer support, they'll have your info on file if you've ever registered or purchased any previous upgrades from them.
