readrums, some questions

MessageAuthor

Hi guys! I was looking by google some step sequencer for reaper and i found readrums. I really like this one because its really light to work but i have some questions. The thing is that i would like to have each sample in diferents channels. For example, i want to write the time of the kick in one channel and the to add some effects. The same with the clap, this one in another diferent channel and to write it in that channel, not every sample in one channel. And like that with all the rest of the samples. So, I thought to put one readrum per sample that i want but maybe there is another way to do this. Maybe there are templates for another step sequencers that i can use how i want. So, also i can read all type of comments. Thank you very much and sorry for my english

Sorry, ReaSamplomatic5000 can only hold one sample at a time so you need one instance per drum instrument. On the bright side, ReaSamplomatic is light on the CPU so that wouldn't harm so much.

RE: readrums, some questions

I use a stack of Reasamplomatic5000s for my drums. They're all on the same main channel, but I have some of them on channel sends for different eq and effects, i.e., compressor on the kick, verb on the snare, etc.
