Quantize in Reaper has me baffled...

Any of you guys messing with Groove Templates...? I am checking out the Groove Tool and doing some off meter drum tracks and the Ride Cymbal and high hat stuff is swinging. I couldn't be happier with the 50 bucks I spent. Try the MPC 32nd Subz 4 bar

MIDI in REAPER has always been sort of an after-thought IMO. If that weren't the case, these issues along with many other MIDI related features would've been implemented already.

I must be the only person who got reaper midi quickly and see no fatal flaws in it. Set the grid, decide if you want any swing, strength and WALLA! Also, when you include the FNG extentions (in SWS now) it's all there to me. Every single host I've used/tried has midi quirks....all of them!

Reaper's MIDI is fine for what I do. Right click everywhere! Spending a few minutes doing this will get you familiar with the right click menus.
