Shepolla, I can't imagine why there have been no comments on this song. There is a lot to like here. The song writing is quite good. The drums and guitar are recorded beautifully. The vocal is very well done. You are a good singer. Perhaps there could be a little more air in the recording of your voice, although there is nothing really wrong with the way you have recorded it (a personal preference thing I suppose). I must admit to being biased against the sound of washy synth pads. I suspect that I listened to too much Rick Wakeman back in the 70's, who made heavy use of the same synth sound that you are using, so it makes the production of the song sound a little dated to me ( although I wouldn't be surprised if it fails to evoke the same feel in others). If it were my song, I'd try a synth sound that is less glassy and perhaps more raw. Or maybe even substitute a rhythm part played on acoustic guitar for the synth in places. Having harped on what is probably a personal bias, I do want to make it clear that I think that the song and performance are both very good. I hope get a chance to hear the final product. T
