A bit off topic, but does anyone have a list of Plugin hosts that still need Carbon plugins? Or where I could find such a list?

Not really... I guess I could test which of the hosts I have currently installed still use (but not necessarily need) Carbon.

All 32bit VST2 hosts and bridges use Carbon except Reaper when hosting plugins that implement Cockos' extension (e.g. all IPlug plugins). I think almost all up-to-date versions of common AU hosts use Cocoa, except maybe DP7

Ah, that makes sense, looking in the VST 2.4 SDK files it only talks about carbon. So do you only use the IPLUG_NO_CARBON_SUPPORT you have added to WDL-OL for AU?

No, that is just enabled for 64 Bit builds
