simple question - did you change the pan law from reaper's default setting or not?

Yes, I use -3dB and I set all my folders/tracks for FX's/tracks with receives to 0dB.

-3db here too for track with mono material, but tracks with only stereo media I usually change to 0dB law.

I use 0dB on everything and trust my ears when panning. I adjust the gain manually after doing the pan setting. Too often have I been surprised by a render not sounding the same (using other apps than Reaper) or other traps caused by pan law settings, so I long ago decided that the only one I can trust regarding my volumes is my own two ears. I usually tend to fine-adjust volumes getting to the end of mixing stage anyway, so I can do that regarding pans as well. The only exeption is when I discover that some pan automation doesn't play well with volumes, then I try which pan law setting suits my needs best in that occasion. Most often that will turn out to be -3db on the center, but it might as well be -6dB sometimes (on more bassy material iirc).

0db here for everything. I will use a panning plug on some sources, until we get proper panning! :D .t

I leave it as the default too, mainly because I have no idea what would happen if I changed it... :)
