I know MMC is involved with this, but I've tried many things and nothing seems to work. Would someone be kind enough to uide me through the steps in setting up ProTools 6.1 to receive the MMC from the MPC. Thanks.

So you mean I sequence out everything and then set the MPC to be controlled by Pro Tools. How do I go about setting this up through ProTools6.1, I saw pulled it off in 5.0 through OMS, but now I'm confused? Thanks.

It's easy... In Pt: Choose Midi. Select Enable midi beat clock. Click on the Digidesign Digi 001 on the mpc press shift+9 to enter midi sync. CHange the Mode to Midi Clock. Make sure your 001 midi out is going to the midi in of your MPC That's it. This is for sync on individual tracks...for like 1 or 2 bar loops. I would assume this is what you are doing if you are using an MPC. This is not for letting a track play for 5 minutes cause then you may have some shift problems. Let me know if you need any more help

Hey Citi, that was so damn easy it wasnt even funny, thanks again, BUT, now I'm going to get picky, how can i set up PT so that when I set the record, press play, and i'm recording a track from the MPC, PT will automatically stop recording after the 2 bars or what have you are finished playing, I have the MPC set to non loop play. Thanks!
