Waves plugs gone after registration in OSX

I just made the big switch of PT to the new G4/1.25 DP and installed OSX and PT6. I installed the Waves Gold bundle (v.4) under OSX and they all came up in PT in 14 day demo mode. Having got the correct challenge from the Waves website, I then ran the authorisation programme and it reported that all was properly registered. Upon launching PT, none of the Waves plugins now appears, either within the mixing desk or audiosuite! I should say that this is almost my first experience with the OSX environment but I've been with Macs now for 13 years and can't think why they should no longer be there. Nothing esle was changes - just authorised the bundle. Just wondered whether anyone else had any such experiences?!

Hello. My install went fine but. In OSX any time you alter your software there seems to be a need to "repair permissions". Using the Disk Utility app (Aplications-utilities folder) Once opened highlight your boot drive, click the first-aid tab-then repair permissions. If this fails then check you plugins folder (boot drive -library-application support-digidesign-plugins) and see if the waveshell is there. Your waves folder that has a copy of the waveshell should be at the bottom of your applications folder. tc

Thanks for those thoughts. I just repaired permissions, to no effect. There is definitely the Waveshell is still in the plugins folder. The strange thing is that it all worked until I authorised them. Guess I'll have to wait 'till after the holiday and tackle Waves. I appreciate your thoughts though. Rod.
