VST1 should be automatically routed to channels 1 and 2. Click where it says 1 in 1 out and check in on both channels and out on both channels just to be sure. Steve

Try it again with the input and the output enabled on channel 2 for VST1. The noise seems to be coming from Amplitube as it stopped when you fed a null signal on channel 2 (this is what you did when you disconnected VST1 on channel 2) Check for a feedback loop in the settings. On the layout diagram on amplitube I think channel 2's path is the lower one so look at those modules. Oh, back to your original post, yes VST1 was already connected the way you wanted. Steve
