740 EST 1988 Missing/cutting out help !!!!!!!!!!!!

[B]Keeps missing/ cutting out/ won't start. The engine turns over fine, sometime will not start, sometimes starts fine then dies, sometime runs well but misses occasionaly.After having 'AA' call out 6 times, have changed coil, disributor cap, rotor arm, ht leads, ignition module and the fault seems to be alright then returns but this time the fault is worse and car unusable, can anyone help, please !!!!!!!!!!!! ps have disregarded fuel supply because all 'AA patrol guys initially can't find spark at plugs ( could it be fuel starvation ? ) Thanks Martin.:hissyfit:

hi mate have u looked at fuel pump ? could be worn out or fillter blocking up just a thourt my be worth looking at????regards john
