NOT not working in smart folders

Hey all; I can't get the NOT qualifier to work properly when defining smart folders in the FX window. For instance if I use something like: scope OR span OR meter OR alysi the smart folder adds the correct FX, but if I add: scope OR span OR meter OR alysi NOT glitch I still get FX listed with the word glitch. Am I doing something wrong?

Try NOT glitch AND scope OR span OR meter OR alysi

Thanks for the reply SS, but that has no effect. The interesting thing is that the NOT command does work on its own, just not mixed in with the OR function. Is that how it's designed?
