Quicktime Pro who\'s using, pro\'s cons

One thing Apple took away from QT v7 that you need Pro for is the properties window (Apple+J). With v6 and earlier, you could get all of that data. Now, you need v7 PRO to see it.

QT Pro does a lot of handy things for very little money. You can tie all your reels together to make a viewing copy in 10 minutes.

QT Pro is a nifty and powerful app but here's a warning- Apple will sneak the QT upgrade into the software upgrade panel, and suddenly your authorized version of QT Pro will no longer exist, and you will have to buy whatever version they came up with next. They upgrade QT version numbers way more often than any new features justify, and you will end up having to buy it over and over again for no good reason. That has been my experience with it. Oh, and Quicktime and Digi have completely screwed up Quicktime and ITunes on my system, so that I need to launch ProTools just to listen to ITunes. Lots of other users had this problem as well.
