Better quality, CCE or Rempeg?

Yes you can. There is an entire method dedicated to doing that. The result is a high quality DVD-5 duplicate that is indistinguishable from the original (with all menus and special features intact). There are variations, particularly on which authoring package you use to remux (Maestro, SpruceUp, ReelDVD, Scenarist) but generally it looks like this: DVD->DVDDecrypter->DVD2AVI->AVISYNTH->CCE->MAESTRO->IFOUpdate->BURN An even easier way if you just want the movie is to use DVD2AVI, AVISYNTH, and CCE followed by IFOEdit to remux and create a DVD-R containing just the movie.

ReMpeg works great for me! Just got done encoding the Matrix & I can barely tell the differance...........! Not to mention the easy remuxing with IfoEdit.....! Unlike CCE? Can't bitch about a free app...............!

The only person you have to satisfy is yourself. If you're happy with the results you get -- it's the right package for you.

In light of the poll results, can some post a link to CEE's home site & how much does the full version cost. I have no interest in encoding with A bitmap logo in it.
