Using digi midi i/o with Digital Performer using DAE, When midi track is rec-enabled (to an external Midi device ie XV5080) the latency is about half a second maybe more. Tried lowering buffers to minimum (128) no luck. Spoke to Motu and they say it should be fine when you change buffers. Anyone had this at all?? My main set up is Pro tools 6.9.2 with 10.4.2 on a G5 dual 2gig HD2 so more than capable. midi works fine on pro tools. Wondering if it may be an issue with the hardware itself? I am also monitoring through a mixer not software. I have run DP purley in midi mode to eliminate audio settings and no luck. Where do i go next?

Thanks i have been trying to find a forum for motu. That will be a great help!! It's fine for me on pro tools and standalone mode so i don't know whats happening. looks like i may have to rewire up my Midi sport!! which is a shame really. They bought m-audio after all
