OK Digi guys! What is the hold up with 001 for PC? It was supposed to be January! My very exsistance is depending on this! The last I heard was April... well... welcome to April... Any new info? please!??! At least some official system requirements, so those of us waiting can be ready to install it when it does arrive?? I would LOVE to Beta test, it that option is available! HELP! JERM!

Digi's already answered this question many times (go look a little further back). It's also on the digi001 web site. First half of the year 2000 (I guess by July 1). Mike

Digi has answered this question before, but they've never said July. The last time they answered, I beleive they said it would be April. I understand that because of the nature of software development release goals often get pushed back. I would just like to hear it from Digi that we should not be expecting Digi001 until at least July or whenever they think it might be. That way I can make a decision to wait or go elsewhere. We're very close but I don't have a specific release date for you guys. I can tell you that we showed PTLE on PC at the namm show in Feb. It's well into it's test cycle but no release date yet. We will post this info as soon as we get it. B Carter Digidesign

Yes, I don't see why you would buy a translated product for your platform: it's obviously not going to work as well and you'll be asking the same question here about an upgrade in 6 month: "Digi, when is the PC version of LE 5.1 gonna be out?". Get a mac and make some music today!

Agreed, The reason for the delays is that P.C. is an unstable platform, and Digi are too smart to release until they are sure that it works properly. Do yourself a favour and get a Mac. That way you will make music instead of spending your time calling tech support.

Jermg Mac is fantastic ! Mac is the best ! Everything is fine with the Mac ! There are no problems whatsoever ! Tonywall is a Digi software developer in disguise, so he should know ! All the threads on this DUC referring to any problem with the Mac are an optical illusion. Don't you guys ever get tired of preaching ? The damn thing (PC version) isn't even released and yet you know as a sure fact that it won't work. I wish I was that competent. You must be waking up at night screaming "oooh nooo, another PC sinner ! We must convert him !"
