digital tv processing audio mismatch

MessageAuthor

using dvd2avi (I have tried all the newest versions) I have encountered problems with audio in my final avi file done using gordian knot (also the newest pack) viz. the audio seems ok at the start but later it goes out of synch. I believe it's due to the lost frames at recording, sometimes signal drops. How can I cope with the situation? It's ok when you encode a short MTV video ( no problem) but when you deal with a film it's a real problem.

What format is your out-of-synch audio track? AC3? MP3? What interleaving? What bitrate?

it's both when you mux mp3 (besweet) or original mpa. Variable 128 bitrate.interleaving at default gordian knot's settings
