New music with MultiLoops!

Hey ProTools Pals, Please check out a new track I wrote and recorded this weekend using Naked Drums "MultiLoops". The track is called THE SHAPE WE'RE IN and you can find it at... Press the SOUND button. MultiLoops is a fun writing/recording tool. These beats come from their R&B/Pop set. Equipment used: Gibson Les Paul, Shure SM-58, Lexicon MPX-100, Line 6 Flextone amp. I like it, it's an old REM-ish feel a little bit. I would bring the drums up front a bit more. Also there is an unnatural lack of crashes which IMO is missing. Crashes can really add to sonic climaxing (oohh ahhh) and dynamic of the song. There are some great fills but they seem to fall a bit flat without them. A bit bass shy too. I like the phone stuff. Overall very cool. Eric (but what do I know anyway...)

Hey Eric, Thanks for listening and the cool comments! Yea...balanace of drums is a delicate thing for me. For the longest time I was mixing them too loud. And then someone on here said to turn them down and I did...and all this cool atompsheric stuff started to be heard. But maybe I've swung to far in the other... Lots to learn!
