Edirol UA-25 ASIO4ALL v2 driver In the preferences screen, I can see the Edirol. As soon as I close the Preference screen, the Hardware 1 output says Not Connected It worked before. I recorded some tracks but now for some reason, it stopped working.
I looked in the ASIO driver and in the tooltip ther was "Wavetable-software enabled?" So I disabled it, and I could select the outputs. So, that's one problem solved. The new problem is I don't have any Midi-sound output.
Why not use the Roland ua-25 asio driver for the UA-25 - it's designed for it! I had a UA-25 for a while and had no problems with it and REAPER. Windows xp, sp3.
Yup... If your interface has working ASIO drivers, USE THEM. Asio4all is a great little hack for making 40-cent onboard soundcards kinda work, but the engineers that build true ASIO soundcards usually know what they're doing.
