Insuring two cars?

Advertising

MessageAuthor

Hi all for the first time I have got to insure two car's in my name,,So what do all you lucky two or more volvo owners do? Who is the best?Cheapest? My 940 will be used as much as the 240,which on average is about four thousand a year,so two thousand miles on each. The reason I ask is that I am fixing the 940 which I just got,It had some tax and is now running out,Mostly I need to tax the 940 or they will tow it away as it is on the highway(council carpark)My insurance will only swap my policy not insure both! The wife who is a learner has a little old fiesta to practice in and has her own insurance but her insurer told her she has to pass her test and have held her full licence for one year before she can drive it?So she can't insure it to tax it.Apparently it is because the 940 and the 240 are automatic's???? Any help will be much appreciated.I am trying to convince my boss to let me keep it at his place but as I already have three car's there it might not happen. If and when it get's fixed the wife is going to drive it instead of the fiesta(after one year). Ok I could swap policies but I haven't fixed the 940 yet so I would be without my precious 240. Brian.:hissyfit:

RE: Insuring two cars?

Adrian Flux gave me a great introductory discount when I needed to insure two cars. Try giving them a call on 0800 0838833 or visit . They were miles cheaper than everyone else.

Carole Nash now do an "omni" policy for multiple vehicles, and you can also add your home buildings/contents to it... Mike

I'd recommend direct line at the moment - and then also consider moving your house insurance to them as well, you'll find you'll save heaps. However this will last a year and it will be advisable to look around again - as it is with everything. There's nothing gained with staying loyal these days, switch and switch again. Vipes
