And why copying from other DAWs if what it's already there in Reaper works perfectly well? I think that one click to add automation point is probably the fastest way to do it, as it is now with Reaper :) Same goes for drawing the MIDI item with Ctrl+drag. Works flawlessly.

True, it wasn't so hard getting used to it. Still, airon's Mouse Zone Editor is a must! Then everyone should be satisfied.

... and we're back to square one... I don't want to have to use modifier key to adjust/modify automation; furthermore, I don't have to since there's a perfectly valid method for doing so, used by countless other software, so, proven to work. Furthermore, having this option doesn't remove anything from anybody. So, what's your objection exactly?

Dunno. I just want that Mouse Zone Editor implemented already, so these kinds of requests would finally vanish. Give the user flexibility to create his/hers own workflow (full mouse action editor, full menu and context menu editor, shortcut editor...) and these threads should be gone once for all :D

Here's some: ........ and here are some (single click) double points::::::::: You'd need to CTRL+v to copy them, though. Never mind. Mouse editor FTW.
