Using webcam & display for Vocal Booth?

Anyone doing this & got suggestions of hardware & software? My vocal booth is out of eyeshot from the studio, but I'd like to be able to see & cue a singer & vice-versa. Was thinking about iSights, or evocam. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks! Joel

I use a small camera I got off a car website (its a rear-view camera for backing up) -- and I run that from the vocal booth to the control room and watch off a 7 inch flat screen TV from radio shack... 125 bucks I think... It works nicely!

Thanks! How about for the person inside the booth to see you? I guess one could run the same setup in the other direction. Maybe they're a more elegant solution? I found a 17" display with a built in webcam, but it's a bit pricey.

I just went to Radio Shack, and got a tiny little black and white security camera (it was advertised to check and see who's knocking at your front door), and a little video monitor (10 inch or so). Ran the camera into the Video In of the T.V. It even has sound (the camera has a mic in it). Just get two, one for each direction, and you're ready to go. It was not expensive at all.
