Offer - does someone need drums on their recording?

Hi all, Free, self-promoting offer - if someone has a song that they can't finish without drums I'm looking for something new to play on. Drop me a line if you're interested. :-)

Don't be. It's unusual to get such an offer. I would have thought that some BDF-EZ drummer users would have loved to have a real replacement...? I'd love to take you up on your offer but nothing I'm working on needs acoustic drums.

Try telling us what styles you prefer - if any, and maybe what you are using in the way of equipment. your post is just a little vague

RE: Offer - does someone need drums on their recording?

I just sent you an email Hercules. I hadn't read the whole thread so disregard some of my email. Here is my request thread for drums. The music ranges from pop to prog-rock with pop sensibilities. There are multiple time signatures and I've had a hard time finding a drummer who can deal with the subtleties. Interested? I have no problems with not getting the stems and totally "get" the desire to protect your intellectual property. In fact, to make it easier, when I have collaborated like this before, I usually send out a rough mix stereo mix down with an added click on it's own track. I don't send out full project stems either. Since we both use Reaper this is a streamlined way for you to have the tune to play to and it keeps file size smaller for easier file sharing. Plus it is my way of protecting my own intellectual property. Get back to me if you are interested and we can take it from there. Awesome. Rich

What do you say about e-drumming then sending out MIDI for a certain drum sampler (like EZD or AD)? We'd still have to do our own mix. :D
