beat detective bug at high sampling rate

Using beat detective at 176.4 sampling rate. Finished working on 4 tracks of drums - everything fine. Go to use it on bass guitar and as soon as I change the analysis setting from high to low it crashes. Tried it three different times -crashed every time. Called tech support, sure enough, its a known bug. Ran a search but no luck. Anyone know about this? Are bugs like this posted anywhere? Is there a work around? HD 3 Dual 1 gig 5.3.1 Thanks David

Have you tried deactivating the tracks you're not working on when using it on the bass? Just throwing out ideas. I don't have much experience w/ BD.

I had the same problem, and I think I might have been the first one to find the bug judging by the reaction from tech support. It sounds like a fix for 6.0. My errors were mostly mac errors like 1, 3, and 12. I never got a DAE type error so I never really figured out a workaround. Tech support had no suggestions. Also, the crash was very random with no discernable pattern, just POW and I had to restart.

As soon as I go to low emphasis, hit capture selection, and analyze, protools (5.3.1 off the cd) quits with a type 2 error. Does it everytime.
