FireWire CD-R/CD-RW and Random Audio

I've been working with a LaCie 8x4x32 Firewire burner that has been leaving a pop at the end of every CD I've worked on. It only appears during playback on audio players though - still works in my computer CD Drive. That's great if I'm going to keep audio in my computer, but makes it hard to get mastered, duplicated, or use as a decent demo. I need to share my music! (Or at least see how it sound in my car!?) Any suggestions?

I've got exactly the same problem G4 400 192 MB RAM OS 9.0.4 Lacie 8x4x24 (firewire) toast 4.1 I always get a click of digital distortion at the end of the tracks. However in toast it doesnot find my drive as a lacie, it finds it as a: Mat****a CD-RW CW - 7585 firewire Any suggestions?

Try using a another burning program. I had the same problem on my PC for a long time until I started using sound forge cd architect. I had been using TOAST and had the same issue. It is noy your drive it is toast.

I mailed lacie and they said I need to update to toast version 4.1.2 I will try this later

It worked, get the latest update for toast from their site: :-)
