Can I burn a 800mb DivX file to mode2 xa without amy problems?

Looking through the forum it seems some people are burning nearly 800mb to a cdr by using mode2 xa instead of mode 1. The only disadvantage seems to be that you loose the error correction you get with mode 1. Will I get any compatability issues burning DivX with mode2 or can I just play them as usual? BluDChyLD P.S Some people seem a bit worried that when burning in mode2 you can damage your cds really easily. Well psx games are burnt in mode2 and some of mine have been scratched to hell and still play ok.
