Cant get Virtual midi keyboard to send to Kontakt

I seem to have resolved the problem, I guess. I installed the 32 bit version of REAPER and I no longer have that problem. Seems to be a 64 bit issue, at least on my machine

hmmmm well I am on 64 bit Win7 and reaper 64 and kontakt 64 and don't have the problem... so if what you reported about making it work, then I'd suspect a prob with the bridging of 32 bit kontakt into a 64 bit reaper... again, ... 64 bit reaper and 64 bit kontakt and VMK work fine here...

Sounds like it could be the case

It's possible you don't have the Kontakt 64bit dll files. When you install or update you have to be careful and make sure you have the correct paths setup for both the 32bit and 64bit which should be different from each other. The 32bit dll should go in the directory you have set up for 32bit FX and same for the 64bit dll files, they need to go in the directory you have set up for 64bit FX. Also when you update you have to make sure the VST is turned on for downloading. That messed me up on a couple of updates until I discovered the problem. :)
