Help required from someone with Sat Nav

I'm in the process of mounting my aftermarket Sat Nav in the same place as Volvo mount theirs. What I would like to know is the dimensions of the hole in the grill the volvo screen slots into. If it will fit my unit I will purchase the grill with the slot ready made if not I will have to cut into mine. Many thanks

I've seen these before but I wanted a semi permanant fixing. Although my solution wont be motorised like Volvo I do intend to mount it so that it can be retracted into the dash when not in use.
