using a second midi interface alongside the digi001

MessageAuthor

im wondering whether or not i can use a second midi interface alongside the digi. i have a motu midi express xt serial interface and i want to hook it up, set it up in oms and use it in pro tools as well as logic. is this possible? i dont see why not, id just like to get confirmation before i drop $150 on a serial port pci expansion card. thanks.

I've used an OPCODE MIDIport 32 USB interface along with the Digi 001 for the past nine months. No problems. Good luck

suyenfung i have a smaller motu, 2in and 4out interface and i'm setting up my 001 this weekend. i was considering not using it at all because i have always had timing problems with it and it frustrates me. i was using cakewalk metro at the time, thought that was the problem. any advice - - maybe we will attempt it all and fill in each other here!! sorry to steel your spotlight
