upgrading 6.1 -> 6.4 -> 6.9, do i need new code #?

I just got done upgrading 6.1 -> 6.4, everything went great. I would like to continue upgrading to 6.9, but when I put my PTLE CODE from my manual (the paper manual that came with my 002) it says it is the wrong code, and asks for my 6.4 code. Is it different?

Don't know about the code, but the problem is most likely that you need PTLE 6.7 before you can upgrade to 6.9

Pro Tools LE 6.7 and higher is a paid upgrade from Pro Tools LE 6.4 and older. You would need to purchase the upgrade to Pro Tools LE 6.9 from your Digidesign dealer or the online DigiStore in order to install Pro Tools LE 6.9. There is no need to install 6.7 or any previous version, the 6.9 Upgrade includes full installer CDs for both Windows XP and Mac OS X. Information on updates and upgrades to Pro Tools LE 6.9 can be found in the Customer Service section of the Support section on the website: There is link there to the Pro Tools LE 6.9 Q & A:
