Thanks I hope you all like the FA2 update Yes it is a complete different amp compared to FA3, not only the amps but the eq, speakers and FX are all different. Tedwood - thanks for opening this thread and the audio demo Multple instances of FA2 - hmmmm! yeh most seem to have this problem with SE plugins causing a crash on multi core machines. somehow it seems quad cores are not having this problem?? anyhow when SE1.1 is out and stable, I hope to squash this problem once and for all? OldGeezer - For Sonar8 try to go to the plugins properties for the VST adapter, there should be a tick for "tempo based plugin" A kind guy from cakewalk found that if this was not checked FA3 would crash sonar8. Could be the problem you have with FA2? as it requires a clock the same as FA3. Thanks all any questions just let me know? Peace Fretted Synth

Anybody else getting an error message (Alert) on load that says "Can't Load Module EQ1"? I downloaded this morning to have a look, and it seems to run fine, but I get this message when I add it to a track. Click OK 2 times and it loads up, but wondering if I missed something on the download.
MichaJo - Been getting many people asking for the old plugins (that is got me to work on FA2 again)give me a week or so to finish a couple plugins I am working on and I will add a file with some of the old stuff, including 1st and 2nd bass. Tedwood - sorry again about the multi instance problem hope I can fix soon. Yeh FA2 is a much smaller structure then FA3 so the lag on play press is much smaller. About the only problem I have with reaper is this (lag a play press)with SE FX. Reaper seems to unload and reload the plugin at play press? When I load a SE FX wrapped in eXT1.4 for some reason this problem goes away? OldGeezer - Not a problem, but thank one of the programmers at cakewalk not me, he found this problem and reported it to there forum. brainwreck - Does the amp sim work OK? Have no idea why the synth would not work if the sim is working? Have to look at that cause I have some pretty neat ideas I want to build off of what I started with guitsyn. bigwoody - Sorry about that, anyone else have this problem? This was the first time I used that SE module. Hope I dont have to remove it, nice sounding eq module it is. Fretted Synth
i think its got a decent feel - but i always felt this sim was very muddy/boxy. never liked it myself, but gotta appreciate all the hardwork and love that went into it :D... oh wait, this is a NEWer version than 3??!?!? ok maybe i need to revisit it... that clip wasnt too convincing that its different now but perhaps a minute with the new one

Fretted Synth[/QUOTE] Thanks man, everything seems to work fine, No one else is getting this?? I just get that warning (twice) every time that I open a project with FA 2.5 on it or when I add it to a track. Like Ted and others it is truely one of the best amp sims that I have heard.
