Sysex messages being record from my korg triton when everything is idle and nothing is being touched. When I have the midi input (on a track in reaper) set to all channels then sysex message (F8 00 00) starts to record in the log box of the "reacontrol" plugin and it just keeps repeating. I haven't begun to send any data or move any knobs or anything. Btw this only happens with the input that the triton is plugged into. What gives?
Hmmm. OK. So let's say I wrap my head around the band aid rule... is there still an issue with the gluing, then? How can I glue two or more items like that together? This, and similar issues I *think* I've found with audio items (see links in previous post) has me a bit paranoid about gluing and routine item consolidation. Thanks schwa.

Crash when trying to undo while project playing It's a pretty large project, and I was trying to undo a paste of about 64 items (a few copies of a REX file). I can't really reproduce it in a fresh project. Guess it's really related to the expense of the operation. (It's probably no help, but Windoze said this, amongst other things: "The instruction at "0x1a65e738" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read".") --edit: should point out that it doesn't "surprise" me that certain operations during playback cause problems. It might be the case that no DAW could take a really heavy operation during playback. (In other words, playback will either jar or stop for a passive paste/edit/undo, etc.) But, of course, REAPER (and others) can manage lighter operations, and it would be really good to see them deal with an onslaught gracefully. Certainly no crashing. :-)
Yes I will. Thanks. Edit: Smack me and call me Susan. I logged off and back on (my audio driver was glitching) and now... no pitchbend errors. Weird. I guess it was a glitch on my laptop as I cannot duplicate the issue now. I just did 20 in a row and they all tracked. I swear I'd had that issue before. Gone now.
