Yep-that's normal. It just means there might be some short interlaced sections in the pre-movie stuff, or around chapter breaks perhaps. You should be able to Force Film it.

Hi- We don't need a picture-I'll take your word for it. And I repeat that it has nothing to do with it being B&W. In fact, frequently B&Ws compress worse (the older ones anyway) because they're full frame and come from lousy source material (try working on Seven Samurai sometime-it'll give SPR a run for its money as being the least compressible film of all time). But I suggested posting the GKnot Log earlier so, yes, that would be a good idea.
